Overview
Am I Beautiful? ("we", "our", or "the App") is an AI presence coach. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We will never sell your personal information.
Data We Collect
- Photos: The selfie you submit for each Presence Read. Photos are uploaded securely to Supabase Storage and used solely to generate your presence analysis. They are never used for advertising or shared with third parties for profiling.
- Account information: Your email address and display name, collected when you create an account via Apple Sign-In or email/password.
- Presence Read results: Scores, reflections, and other AI-generated insights associated with your account.
- Device information: Device model, operating system version, and app version — used for crash reporting and compatibility.
- Usage analytics: Screen views, feature interactions, and aggregate usage patterns sent to Google Analytics 4 (GA4). No personally identifiable information is included in analytics events.
- Subscription status: Your in-app purchase history managed through RevenueCat to determine premium access.
- Onboarding personalization data: Optional answers to up to 6 questions asked during initial setup, covering preferences (moments that matter to you, what you want to discover, what you naturally focus on, comparison preference, pre-photo feelings) and an optional age band (e.g. 18-24, 25-34). All questions are skippable. We do not collect your name, exact age, gender, location, contacts, or health data through this quiz.
How We Use Your Data
- To analyse your photo and generate your Presence Score and AI coaching.
- To personalise your experience across sessions (Presence Read tracking, streaks).
- To personalise the language and emphasis of your AI Reflection — for example, the tone of feedback and which dimensions to lead with — based on your onboarding quiz answers.
- To manage your subscription and restore purchases.
- To improve the App through aggregated, anonymised usage insights.
- To send you optional push notifications (only if you grant permission).
We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to data brokers, or use your photos to train AI models. Never.
Push Notifications
We may send occasional in-app push notifications, but only if you grant permission. These include reminders to view your Mirror Moment readings (e.g. an "Outside Eyes is ready" reminder roughly 30 minutes after a scan, sent only to non-subscribers and only once per day) and optional updates about new features. You can disable notifications at any time in your device Settings. We do not send notifications for advertising, marketing of third-party products, or commercial messaging.
Storage & Retention
Photos and Presence Read data are stored on Supabase servers with row-level security. Your data is accessible only to your authenticated account.
- Account deletion: When you delete your account, all photos, Presence Read results, and personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Inactive accounts: We may delete accounts and associated data that have been inactive for more than 24 months, with prior email notice where possible.
- Quiz answers: Your onboarding quiz answers are stored locally on your device immediately as you answer them, and synced to our servers (linked to your account) after you sign in. They are deleted along with all other account data on account deletion.
Third Parties
We work with the following trusted service providers to operate the App:
- Supabase — authentication, database, and photo storage (supabase.com)
- OpenAI — AI analysis of your photo to generate scores and reflections. Photos are sent to OpenAI's API and are subject to their data usage policy (openai.com/policies).
- RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management (revenuecat.com)
- Google Analytics 4 — anonymised usage analytics (policies.google.com/privacy)
Each third party is contractually obligated to protect your data and may not use it for their own purposes beyond providing services to us.
Your Rights
- Access: You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: You may update your display name at any time within the App.
- Deletion: You may delete your account and all associated data from the Settings screen. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.
- Portability: You may request an export of your Presence Read history and scores.

Children
The App is not intended for users under 17 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
