Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Am I Beautiful? ("the App", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and the operators of Am I Beautiful?. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should have parental or guardian consent.

3. Subscription & Billing

Am I Beautiful? offers an optional premium subscription managed through the Apple App Store. Subscription features include the full Presence Read, How Others See You, AI coaching, and more.

• Free trial: A 7-day free trial is available for new subscribers. You will be charged only after the trial period ends.
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
• Cancellation: You may cancel at any time through your device's subscription settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We cannot issue refunds directly.
• Price changes: We will notify you in advance of any price changes. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App in a manner consistent with its purpose — honest, personal self-reflection. You agree not to:

• Upload photos of other people without their explicit consent.
• Use deceptive, manipulated, or AI-generated photos to game results.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract AI models, scores, or data.
• Use the App for commercial purposes or resell access to results.
• Harass, harm, or intimidate others using content from the App.
• Circumvent security measures, paywalls, or subscription verification.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

5. AI Disclaimer

Scores may vary between scans due to lighting, photo angle, AI model updates, and other factors. We do not guarantee consistency or accuracy of results.

6. Intellectual Property

All content within the App — including AI-generated scores, reflections, UI design, copy, and the Am I Beautiful? name and visual identity — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the photos you submit. By submitting a photo, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it through our AI pipeline to generate your results. We do not claim ownership of your photos.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to emotional distress, loss of data, or decisions made based on AI-generated results.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
